Estartit
has everything to offer the discerning visitor. Situated on
the northern end of Spain's Costa Brava about 65 km from the
French border. Girona airport (served by Ryanair from many UK
airports) is 45 minutes by car, Barcelona and Perpignan (served
by Ryanair, Easyjet and BMI) 1hr 45 minutes. Estartit is a small
town with a Marina and 6 km of sandy beach looking out to the
beautiful Medas Islands, famous for it's marine life. Diving,
Horse Riding, Micro lighting, Mountain Walks are all available.
Sightseeing tours to Barcelona, Gerona, Figueras, Montserrat
etc can be booked in the town. Four golf courses are within
half an hour by car from Estartit. The town has a wide selection
of bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. Inland there
are many unspoilt medieval villages again with excellent restaurants.
For those who prefer quieter beaches, the coast either side
of Estartit is full of sleepy unspoilt coves with crystal blue
water. Estartit itself boasts a bustling sanding beach, which
slopes gently into the warm Mediterranean.
Torre
Vella Estate
For
those who prefer a quieter location Torre Vella is situated
half way between medieval market town of Torroella de Montgri
and Estartit. Villas & Houses are set on a pine-covered
hillside looking down to the sea & mountains. This estate
has its own clubhouse with bar, restaurant and swimming pools.
A car is essential although Estartit is only 3 Kilometres.
